1.    

CHECK IN:  Starts at midday on the date of arrival and ends at midday the following day.

LATE CHECK OUT:  Guests may request late check out at Reception (dial 0), which ends at 2pm.  Please be aware that if check out time exceeds 2pm, a charge will be made at the hotel’s discretion i.e. up to half of room rate.

3.    

PAYMENT: We prefer guests to pay in full at the beginning of their stay.  If not, a 50% deposit payment is to be made at check in stage and balance payment at the end of stay plus additional costs incurred i.e. food, laundry etc.  We accept US dollars, Euros, Pound Sterling or Ghana currency (GH Cedis).  We have (POS) payment facility for all major debit and credit cards including VISA, MASTERCARD & AMERICAN EXPRESS.

BED & BREAKFAST:   Lavender Lodge room rate includes bed & breakfast service which starts from 7.00am – 10.00am.  You will find breakfast / lunch /diner menu in our brochure and at the restaurant.  Guests may also request room service which is free of charge.

5.    

LUNCH & DINNER:  Lunch and dinner begins at Midday to 9.30pm (please see menu for options).  You may request service at Reception or by dialing ext. 101 or 0 from room.

6.    

SERVICES:   Business facility i.e. internet, photocopying and laundry can be requested at Reception or by dialing 101 (items and prices are enclosed in our brochure in all rooms). 

7.    

CHILDREN:  VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO ALL GUESTS WITH CHILDREN.  In the interest of the welfare of guests with children at the hotel, we strongly advise parents/guardians to keep a close eye on their children due to the swimming pool on the premises.  Please do not let your child/children wonder off unaccompanied at the hotel at any time.  When in your room with child/children and you want to rest or sleep, you may wish to lock door and remove key from keyhole to prevent child from wondering off whilst asleep.  Lavender Lodge regrettably will not accept responsibility for care of guests’ children whilst at the hotel.

SWIMMING POOL:  DIVING OR WATER BOMBING IS FORBIDDEN.  (Shallow end of pool is 3ft and slopes to deep end at 6ft).   All users of the hotel swimming pool may swim at their own risk.  Lavender Lodge does not have a lifeguard present at any time therefore users of the pool must be competent swimmers and / or be in the company of good swimmers who may assist in case of any difficulties.  

9.    

TOWELS: For swimming (blue) towels – please request these at reception at the price of GH Cedis 5.00 per single use.  PLEASE RETURN TOWELS FOR WASHING. 

10.           

GUEST VALUABLES:  Please take good care of your possessions whilst at the hotel.  Do not leave valuable items such as jewellery, money, passports etc. openly in rooms.  You may wish to take it with you when leaving the room or deposit it at reception for safekeeping.  Lavender Lodge will not accept responsibility for loss of personal property left unsecured. 

11.           

CARS:  Please lock up your cars and remove all valuables.  Guests with cars on the compound park at their own risk.  Lavender Lodge will not be responsible for any items stolen from cars.  Please park well as directed by security guard to avoid any damage by other users of parking facility.
